StarNet2 Now StarNet includes coverage of mouse data and 9 additional species: Human, Rat, Chicken, Zebrafish, Drosophila, C. elegans, S. cerevisiae, Arabidoposis, and Rice. Human, mouse, rat, and Drosophila also have developmental cohorts available.The user can now select any two cohorts for comparison, with interspecies gene mapping made via Homologene group membership. The new HeatSeeker module allows the user to view false color maps of correlation distances generated from the union of the gene lists from two correlation networks, thus allowing for a comparison that is not biased by the way the networks are constructed. A total of over 12,600 arrays provide data for this tool, encompassing approximately 5% of the entries in GEO (as of August 2008).
